Diving into the first of the Profit First accounts means we start with the OPEX account. OPEX stands for operating expense. This account is where all business expenses will come out of and will make it very easy to always know how much money you have remaining to make purchases.
This account is one of the hardest to keep under control. As business owners, we often love to make new purchases and buy new “shiny things”. Keeping an OPEX account at a certain percentage of all revenue will limit your spending and keep you profitable.
